Using the generic “I’d like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn” is not very personable. This is the first impression your potential connection will have; make sure you customize your message to be more personal. This will increase your chances of someone accepting your request.

8. Interact with your followers

The goal of sharing content is to get your followers to engage with your posts, so don’t leave engagements unanswered! If someone comments on your post, make sure you leave a response thanking them and answering any questions they asked. If a follower shares your post, you can thank them or send a message asking if they’d be interested in more content on that topic.
